Looking for information, or for reasons known only to lunatics. Just an example of why he might send you out on an errand. It's safest to assume nothing he says is true on the surface, anyway.

Besides, it's not as if this is the first time he's done it. He made me send him a photo of something that made me smile before. And I am fairly sure he didn't break into my house back then.
It just takes a little verification until you get a sense for it. It isn't "mean."
